Navigation data

The information technology systems and the software procedures for the functioning of this web site acquire some personal information during the course of normal activities; the transmission of this information is implicit in the use of the communication protocols of the internet.

This information is not gathered in order to be associated with identified users. However, because of its very nature, through the elaboration of the data and the association of the data with that held by third parties, it might be possible to identify the users. In this category of information there are, for example, the IP address or the domain name of the computers adopted by the users connecting to the web site, the URI-Uniform Resource Identified addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to query the server, the dimension of the file obtained in response, and the operative numeric code indicating the response of the server (request completed, error, etc.) and other parameters relative to the operative system and to the information technology ambiance of the user.

This information is used only to acquire anonymous statistical data regarding the use of the site and to control its correct functioning. The thus-acquired data is stored only for a strictly necessary amount of time.  The data could be used to identify those responsible for hypothetical information technology crimes or damage to the site.

Data supplied voluntarily by the user

The optional, explicit and voluntary submission of e-mail to the addresses indicated on this site leads to the subsequent gathering of the sender’s address, necessary to respond to the request, or of other possible personal information included in the message.

Data present on the site

Regarding the data present on the site, which may be relative to those members or workers of the non-profit Bagatti Valsecchi Foundation, or to service users, even if in the form of audio-videos, it is hereby clarified that such data has been given by those involved in the sense of the articles 13 and 26 of the d.lgs 196/2003, after explicit information and with the specific consent for its use for communication and promotional goals of the activities of the cooperative geared to a general public and in particular destined for the publication on the internet site of the cooperative.

No personal information of the user is acquired via cookies by the site.

Cookies are not used for the transmission of personal information, nor are so-called ‘persistent cookies’ of any type used, that is, systems to trace the users.

The use of so-called ‘session cookies’ (that are not memorized in a lasting way on the user’s computer, and which disappear with the closing of the browser) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identification (constituted by the random numbers generated by the server) that are necessary for secure and efficient navigation of the site.

The co-called ‘session cookies’ used on this site avoid recourse to other information technology techniques that might endanger the privacy of user navigation, and do not allow the acquisition of personal identifying user data.

Optional submission of data

Aside from that which has been specified regarding navigation data, users are free to furnish their own personal information by compiling online forms, or by contacting the offices of the non-profit Bagatti Valsecchi Foundation when requesting informative material, estimates, or other communication, or participation in the initiatives promoted by the foundation.

The lack of submission of such information may result in the impossibility to receive whatever was requested.

For thoroughness, it should be remembered that in some cases (not related to the everyday management of this site), the governmental authority in charge may ask the non-profit Bagatti Valsecchi Foundation for news and information according to art. 157 of the d.lg. 196/2003, in order to control the handling of personal information. In these cases, the response to the public authorities is obligatory on pain of administrative fines.
